Barry J O'Connell (Bachelor of Commerce Honours), heads up administration and is a director of Cherubim Ventures (Pty) Ltd, and Baobab. Barry worked for Marsh Captive Insurance in Dublin and has held various positions in investment banks in the United Kingdom and Australia. Most recently he was the Managing Director of the Penrich Group of Companies, for 4 years, until he founded BOC Insurance Brokers in 2009.
Martin P Van Blerk, (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law) is the co-founder and portfolio manager of Cherubim and Baobab. Martin managed Baobab and its predecessor since 1997 and also provided investment services to Hamblin Watsa Investment Council Ltd until 31 Dec 2009.
